The Critical Care Medicine Department at Kiran Multi Super Specialty Hospital & Research Center is dedicated to providing advanced, comprehensive, and compassionate care to patients with life-threatening conditions.

Infrastructure
Kiran Hospital has the largest number of critical care beds in Surat, with 152 ICU beds located on the 3rd & 4th floors of the main building, strategically placed near the OT Complex, Cath Lab, Transplant OT, and Procedure Rooms for seamless emergency response.
Our Specialized ICUs are Organized in Independent Clusters:
- HDU – High Dependency Unit
- ICCU – Intensive Critical Care Unit
- MICU – Medical Intensive Care Unit
- SICU – Surgical Intensive Care Unit
- PICU – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Burn ICU – Dedicated to burn injury management
- Cardiac Care Unit (CCU)
- Transplant ICU – For organ transplant patients
Each ICU cluster is equipped with:
- Sophisticated organ support systems—including ventilators, dialysis, ECMO, CRRT—along with ultrasound (USG) machines and bronchoscopy equipment.
